International City is a mixed use commercial, residential, retail and tourism development in the Al Warsan region of Dubai. It is situated between interchanges 5 and 6 of Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) opposite to the Dubai Central Fruit and Vegetable Market. These clusters surround The Central Business District and a site destined to become a ‘replica’ of Beijing’s Forbidden City . There are 485 apartment buildings in the nine residential districts and Central Business District. Rents here are relatively low for Dubai as the apartments are aimed at low to middle incomes. Like many new developments in Dubai the access roads cannot cope with the number of vehicles trying to enter and exit the place at peak times, s...
We enjoyed the 'Surreal' Waterfall I think we stayed here the longest, taking off our shoes, and enjoying the water rushing down on you and through your toes. It was "surreal." 😉 JF, Tin, Khrixia, Grace, Gab. Dubai, UAE. February 23, 2022. Mark Fuller, CEO and founder of California-based Water Entertainment Technologies (WET), tells Gulf News the inspiration comes from the 4,000-year-old gold ring – the very piece of jewellery that helped write the lore of Expo 2020 Dubai. Although Dubai does not publish official neighborhood-by-neighborhood demographic data, expat guides and community sources frequently highlight several distri...
