International City is a mixed use commercial, residential, retail and tourism development in the Al Warsan region of Dubai. It is situated between interchanges 5 and 6 of Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) opposite to the Dubai Central Fruit and Vegetable Market. The district is laid out in repeating patterns of so-called clusters , each of which is named after a different country and is designed using architectural styles from that country: England , Emirates , Russia , Italy , Spain , France , Persia , Greece , Morocco and China . They are temporary commons — where distance from home feels slightly smaller, even if only for a meal. Photographed on Sony a6000.

Many overseas Filipino workers gather in popular Dubai districts such as Al Rigga and Satwa, where Filipino food, markets, and community life thrive. Dubai’s Filipino community is one of the largest expatriate groups in the United Arab Emirates. Over time, several neighborhoods have become particularly popular among Filipinos because they offer affordable housing, convenient transport access, and clusters of Filipino restaurants, groceries, salons, and remittance centers. Although Dubai does not publish official neighborhood-by-neighborhood demographic data, expat guides and community sources frequently highlight several distri...
